2009 Review

So alot of the blogs that I have been reading have all done a year in review post.  I thought I would too.  I didn't start this blog till the end of the year so I'm going to have to search the cob webbed filled corners of my head to remember what all took place this year.  But bear with me it's going to be a long one :).

Jan 2009
We rang in the new year in bed while watching the fire works down at the strip :).  That was better than the year before where I rang in the new year by myself since he was at work! BOO!  We decided to start looking at buying a house and on the first day found one we liked :).  Then celebrated my guy turning 25!

Feb 2009
We took a weekend trip to Brian Head, Utah to go snow tubing and just hang out :).  Had my oral surgery to get my chain on.  We then spent the rest of the month packing to move into our house when we closed the following month.

March 2009
Closed on our house and moved in.  We are now first time home owners!!!!!

April 2009
Celebrated our first Easter in our own home with my whole family and some of my guys work buddies who stopped by.

May 2009
Our A/C took a dump right before our house warming party lol.  Chloe turned 4 just in time to get the A/C fixed lol.

June 2009
Sam knocked up Pebbles lol.

July 2009
Celebrated our first 4th of July in our house :).  Celebrated my 24th bday at work, had dinner with my sister in law that night then we hoped a jet to Virginia so I could finally meet my guys family :).  We spent a few days down in Nags Head, North Carolina on the beach and then the rest of the time in New Kent, Richmond, Newport News and Norfolk Virginia visiting his family and friends.

August 2009
Pebbles brought 5 beautiful puppies into the world with very little help from myself lol. 

We lost the little brown pup a week later :(.

Talk of deployment started happening :(.

September 2009
Nothing intersting happened this month other than lots of puppy kisses lol.

October 2009
The reality that he was being deployed hit home and boy was I not ready for it.  We celebrated our 2 year anniversary :) and I got my first real piece of jewelry from my guy!  We sold 2 of the pups from Pebbles litter and I made a new friend in the process :) (yes I'm talking about you S'mores momma).  We celebrated our first Halloween in our house :).

November 2009
We got the date for D day :(.  I started this oh so lovely blog of mine.  My guy's parents flew in for Thanksgiving and we spent a week running around with them on the strip :).  I cooked my first turkey and apart from it not being cooked all the way through at dinner time it came out pretty darn good lol. 

Thanksgiving weekend my guy left us to go down range :(.

December 2009

Celebrated x-mas with family and friends.
Chloe was in her 1st xmas s!!!!
My mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer :(
Rang in the new year with my dad and stepmom at the Silverton.

And you ask what will happen in 2010? 

Well there will be love reunited!
Hopefully a debanding date for my god awful braces!
A start of big kid school (Kindergarten) for Chloe.
Hopes for a better holiday season this year than last. 
And tons of heart warming moments inbetween :)
